abrdn updates language and process on trio of ethical funds with SDR in mind

Ethical funds not eligible for SDR labels

abrdn has moved to get its ethical equity funds in order ahead of the regulator’s SDR rules and updated three of its portfolios’ investment process and terminology, despite ethical funds being ineligible for the labels.

According to a letter sent to shareholders of the abrdn UK Ethical Equity, Europe ex UK Ethical Equity and Ethical Corporate Bond funds on the 27 September, all three portfolios will have its performance threshold removed.
