Skandia brings Sterling Bond fund to UK retail space

Skandia Investment Group (SIG) is looking to launch a Sterling Bond fund into the UK retail market in January.

The Skandia Sterling Bond fund is currently used as an underlying mandate across SIG's fund suite, including Skandia International Diversified, Skandia Bond Income, Skandia UK Fixed Interest Blend and the Skandia Spectrum range. SIG has appointed TwentyFour Asset Management to run the mandate, with Gary Kirk and Eoin Walsh at the helm. The fund, which was previously run by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, has been topped up with over £50m of internal money to £90m.
